Our beautiful country estate is situated near the heritage town of Stanford, in the shadow of the Klein Rivier mountains, bordering the cold Atlantic Ocean. There is a unique mix of different soil types on the farm including decomposed granite, shale and outcrops of limestone. Additionally, the cool climate terroir allows our grapes a long ripening period for the production of concentrated, yet balanced wines that have true sense of place.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON | 2016
Our beautiful 15 year-old Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard yields 6-7 tonnes per hectare. Though the berries are small, the juice is of good concentration and intense flavour. The Farm's unique terroir allows complete phenolic ripeness even at low grape sugar levels. The wine is aged in 225 L barrels for only 18 months.
The Cabernet Sauvignon flavours consist of smoky casis, Chocolate flavours and supple tannins. The wine has a fresh creamy texture and a long fruit-laden finish.

PETIT VERDOT | 2017
The Petit Verdot grapes are nicknamed our 'pixie vineyard'. The canopy and shoot growth is small in relation to Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, but it's true when they say that “dynamite comes in small packages”!
The berries are small and have intense concentrations of flavour. Additionally, the phenolics and tannins are fully ripe at harvest, producing a very drinkable stand-alone wine.
The farm's unique terroir allows complete phenolic ripeness even at low grape sugar levels. The wine has been aged in 225 L French oak barrels for 18 months.
Our Petit Verdot flavours consist of appealing black cherry, and blueberry seamed with supple chalky tannins.

PINOT NOIR | 2019
Our maiden vintage Pinot Noir red wine from 10 year-old vines has now matured and the flavour character has produced an elegant wine. The grapes were grown on a lighter, sandy soil composition with a mixture of shale and decomposed granite. The wine has been aged in 225 L barrels for only 6 months to retain fruit flavour and elegance.
The Pinot Noir's creation has been driven by fruit flavour and produced in a new world wine style. Our Pinot Noir flavours consist of black cherries and mocha with well integrated oak. There is a well-balanced natural acidity that lends freshness on the palate and produces a smooth finish.

LIMESTONE SAUVIGNON BLANC | 2019
The farm harvests six tonnes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes which have been grown on a limestone outcrop. The vineyard consists of rocky loam soil with a mixture of limestone and decomposed granite.
Our cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc has a fine balance of green fig and ripe tropical fruit flavours; harvesting at an optimal ripeness of 23.5 B.
The wine is given skin contact for 4 hours before being pressed, and is partly naturally fermented in our stainless steel tanks. The wine has been aged in our tanks for 6 months.
Our Sauvignon Blanc flavours consist of nuances of grapefruit with mineralogy and weight on the mid-palate. This is a very food-friendly wine.

BARREL FERMENTED SAUVIGNON BLANC | 2018
Our cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc has a fine balance of green fig and ripe tropical fruit flavours; harvesting at an optimal ripeness of 23.5 B.
The harvested grapes were given 8 hours of skin contact before pressing and settling, and the fermentation was 100% natural. The wine has been aged in 300 L French barrels for 6 months before bottling.
Our Barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc flavours consist of a rich and creamy dimension with a tangy stone fruit flavour. The wine drinks with a full mid-palate and a long finish.
Pairs well with rich, creamy or mild curry to spicy dishes...
SAUVIGNON BLANC | 2022
We have produced two clone Sauvignon Blanc harvests from two vineyards on our farm, with a total yield of ten tonnes per hectare.
Our cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc has a fine balance of green fig and ripe tropical fruit flavours; harvesting at an optimal ripeness of 23.5 B.
The wine has been crushed and pressed at intake in the first few hours of harvesting. It was fermented in our stainless steel tanks on site and inoculated with French yeast. The wine was aged on fine lees in tanks for 6 months before bottling.
Our Sauvignon Blanc is an attractive and easy drinking wine with flavours consisting of fresh herb tropical fruit flavours. The wine has a crisp and refreshing acidity with lingering taste
